Conference Registration

The registration desk will be open Sunday from 2pm to 9pm in the Fraser Auditorium Foyer at Laurentian University.

 

Delegates are invited to sign in, pickup their conference badge and welcome package, network and view the venue.  Snacks and beverages will be provided in the University Club located on the second floor of the Fraser Auditorium building.  Payment of conference fees can be made via credit card or cash (CAD) for delegates that have selected the "Pay Later" option on their registration. 

 

The registration desk opens again at 7:45am Monday morning and will remain set up for the duration of the conference.  

 

Fee and Payment Information

The conference fee is $650 CAD.  

The fee covers lunches from Monday to Thursday, coffee breaks and social events. Fees can be payed by credit card; Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Student Support 

There are a limited number of student bursaries available to support the attendance of students to the TAUP 2017 conference.  Students seeking support should contact Dr. Christine Kraus directly via email at: Christine.Kraus[a]snolab.ca. 

 

SNOLAB Tours 

Tours of the SNOLAB underground facility will be available throughout the conference.  Availability is limited.  Please indicate your interest in participating in an underground tour on the TAUP 2017 online registration form. 

SNOLAB is located approximately 20 minutes from Sudbury’s city centre in the community of Lively.  Located in an active nickel mine, SNOLAB is an expansion of the existing facilities for the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory.  SNOLAB is located within the private property owned by Vale.  Travel onto site requires prior approval. Please review the SNOLAB Visitor Guide for specific information on travel to the underground lab.
